The first conversation

Intake & Assessment

Your watch arrives wrapped in the same quiet ceremony as a patient on a consulting table. We photograph every surface under raking light, note every scratch and crown position, and produce a handwritten condition report before a single case screw is turned.

Includes: Case condition, crystal clarity, crown and pusher function, water resistance test, visual movement inspection through caseback.

Disassembly

The movement comes out of the case. Then the balance, then the escapement, then the gear train — each component labeled and placed on a white tray in the exact sequence it left the movement. Nothing is rushed. A hairspring bent by impatience is an hour lost.

Diagnosis & Estimate

Before work begins, you receive a PDF estimate with every line item: parts, labor, and the reason each is necessary. You approve it or you don't. The watch waits. We never assume authorization for work you haven't seen priced.

Where the hours are spent

Repair & Regulation

The mainspring is replaced. Worn pivots are polished. The escapement is cleaned and set. Hands are fitted under a loupe with no margin for misalignment. The movement is regulated on the timegrapher across six positions until it runs within COSC tolerances.

COSC regulation: −4/+6 seconds per day. Tested across dial-up, dial-down, crown-up, crown-left, crown-right, crown-down positions.
